This was the fastest service I have ever seen a table of 8 receive. We knew we were imposing when we asked around 8:30 and were told we'd be seated at the last call. Still, we wanted sushi so we bit the bullet... Or so we thought. We also got our food in 5 minutes flat and we ordered 1-2 dishes each. They were respectful and kind to everyone and made sure everyone had their orders correct and allowed us to stay past closing to finish our food. I got the Garlic Tuna Sashimi which was a delightful taste, if slightly peppery taste. While I didn't taste the other dishes, everyone at the table agreed that the fish was high quality. I feel incredibly grateful to have been able to eat here.

I tried this place and honestly it surprised me 👀✨ The atmosphere is really nice, perfect if you want to relax or take cute photos (the lighting is great 📸). The service was excellent — the staff were attentive and quick, but not overwhelming. I ordered sushi and nigiri, and everything looked fresh and well presented. The flavor was really good, especially the nigiri 🤍 Overall, it feels clean, comfortable, and has a great vibe. I would definitely come back 👌”

Great food, we had one person celebrating their birthday and the servers voluntarily give a short performance and gave us a free matcha ice cream. Very nice.

The sashimi platter was a beautiful surprise for a first-timer trying raw fish. The presentation was clean and elegant — each piece carefully placed on a shiso leaf with shredded daikon underneath, and small touches of lemon, ginger, and wasabi on the side. The fish was incredibly fresh and had a delicate texture that made it easy to appreciate each flavor, even for someone new to uncooked seafood. The salmon stood out for its buttery smoothness, while the tuna and yellowtail offered a nice balance of flavor and firmness. Overall, it was a refreshing and surprisingly enjoyable experience — definitely changed the way I think about “uncooked meat.”

I especially enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and their salmon nigiri; each bite felt elevated without being over the top. The atmosphere is intimate and unpretentious, with warm lighting and a friendly buzz. Service was attentive and knowledgeable—I appreciated that the staff took time to explain specials and recommend pairings. Why not a perfect five? A few menu items felt a bit predictable, and prices were on the upper side—though not outrageous for the quality. Also, it got a touch noisy toward the end of dinner, so it’s better for early evenings or a mellow catch-up. Overall, Anaba is a dependable choice for sushi lovers who want quality and comfort in one place. I’ll definitely return for those standout rolls.
